Activewear sunglasses are part of the health buff's essential gear. Outdoor exercises and recreational activities like biking, jogging, and hiking all expose a person to the maximum wrath of the sun's rays, among other environmental hazards. The eyes are a sensitive part of the body which is frequently overlooked when a person wants to slim down or tone up. End result: an outdoorsy person performs all the necessary routines to take care of one's skin and one's muscles -- but not the eyes.
Besides the sun's ultraviolet (UV) rays, the outdoorsy person faces assault from the wind, dust, sand, and other particles that might fly into the eyes and cause minimal to serious damage. Activewear sunglasses would help prevent emergencies, at least eye-related ones. A good pair of sunglasses won't just block the sun, wind, dust, et cetera: it will also diffuse light in order to prevent glare, thus helping the exerciser avoid accidents caused by temporary blindness at fatal turns or edges.
A good pair of sports sunglasses will also allow for clarity of vision. Some sunglasses are "shaped" around the curve of the face so as to produce a cool "visor" effect -- this is preferable to some sunglasses that provide limited vision that is distorted around the edges. Many modern sunglasses do allow for maximum clarity and visibility, however. The exercise buff should try a pair out for these specific properties before purchasing.
When choosing activewear sunglasses, take into account the make of the frame: is it nylon or plastic? Is it too tight or too loose? Does it cause discomfort when you wear it? You wouldn't want to keep pushing your sports sunglasses up the bridge of your nose while biking or running, so do select a pair that will fit snugly against your temples, without causing abrasion or painful indentations.
And last but certainly not the least, you must take into account how good you'll look while wearing them. Stylish activewear sunglasses lend the wearer a significant amount of "feel-good" vibes, allowing you to exude confidence and an air of mystery at the same time. This feel-good effect is part of the charm of sports sunglasses as a physical fitness outdoor accessory.
